I've been working on the pod plant again. Here are all the pieces, now it's a bit like

a mechano set in need of construction.

This is the main character for Space Temple, Oren Metz.

Space Temple #5

I've been working over the weekend on my Pod Plant. I've built it in repeatable sections. Above is a wire frame showing the stems connectors and pod.

I'm pleased with my leaves, the textures are all hand painted. After finishing the leaves I adapted them to make the PodPlant flowers.

I tried a few colour variations on the flowers

That's as far as I got I still need to do the roots and to put some variation into the pieces. All the stems are currently straight which will have to change. I will post it up again when there's some more progress. Tomorrow I will be posting up the main character.

Space Temple #4

The intro starts in space here are a couple of renders of my planets. The camera zooms between these before settling on the Space Temple. I will be working over the weekend on my pod plant so hopefully will have some renders to post come Monday.

Space Temple #3

I've been working on the environment for the introduction to the temple, creating some glowing mushrooms to add a secondary light source. The mushrooms are poseable so I can do lots of variants.

I'm working on some giant pod plants at the moment, that are going to give a day of the triffids / Jack and the bean stalk look. I still have a backlog of renders to post, so I will post some more tomorrow.

Space Temple #2

I've been working on my temple blocks, for the Space Temple. Here are a couple of test renders. I've also been working on my alien foliage. I will be posting up more updates next week.

These pictures are from the film I am currently working on. I'm not getting much time for drawing at the moment, but I am generating tons of these test renders so I've decided to start posting them up here. This ship is from the intro.
